Sea Oak Capital’s US Solar Fund I was formed to invest in hard assets in the renewable energy sector. The fund specializes in acquiring substantially developed but pre-construction C&I and utility scale solar projects in the continental US through the deployment of its flexible and tax advantaged sponsor equity. Our ability to self-monetize the tax credits and depreciation losses eliminates the need to access third party tax equity markets resulting in a simplified transaction, improved economics and reduced transaction costs. This results in a streamlined and quick close for our developer partners.

In addition, we offer a dynamic co-development strategy in which we partner with project originators and developers early in a project’s life. Our collaborative approach allows us to optimize the development cycle by customizing a solution for each developer with whom we partner to ensure we add value, mitigate risk and defray cost.
