Our Team

Daniel Poydenis is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sea Oak Capital, responsible for crafting the company’s vision and overseeing the growth, investment and management of the company’s portfolios.

Dan’s dynamic background includes roles as the President of NuGen Capital, an attorney in the New York office of DLA Piper, and the managing director of a large privately held solar development company. In these various capacities, Dan has had a leadership role across gigawatts of renewable energy development and investment. Dan is a frequent speaker on solar financing, development, due diligence and investment, and is widely recognized as a pioneer and industry leader in the renewable energy sector.

John Kluwin is the Chief Development Officer at Sea Oak Capital, responsible for driving the company’s strategy and business development.

John works directly with project developers and originators to review, underwrite and acquire solar development assets. As a former solar developer with hundreds of MWs of direct development experience, John understands the complexities of solar developments and what it takes to successfully develop and finance a solar project. He actively leans forward into each and every project finding simple solutions to complex problems to ensure the project’s success.

John earned a bachelor’s degree in economics before completing his Master of Business Administration at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida.
